Stephen Curry scored 48 points, including 11 3-pointers as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday evening in the NBA.

In the 119-114 victory, Kevin Durant also scored 28 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished out 5 assists for an all-around performance.

Warriors improved to 29 wins and 14 losses in the season, while Dallas dropped to 20 wins and 23 losses.

For Dallas Mavericks, rookie sensation Luka Doncic scored a team-high 26 points, but it was not enough to beat the reigning NBA champions.

In another match of the evening, the Toronto Raptors beat the Washington Wizards 140-138 in a double-overtime thriller.

Kawhi Leonard scored 43 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out 5 assists, with 3 steals for Toronto.

For the Wizards, Bradley Beal's 43-point triple double performance came short. He dished out 15 assists and grabbed 10 rebounds in the absence of John Wall.

In Los Angeles, the Cleveland Cavaliers stunned the Lakers with a 101-95 score to end their 12-game losing streak.

Turkish national Cedi Osman was Cavs' highest scorer with 20 points, he also grabbed 8 rebounds. Tristan Thompson scored 15 points and grabbed 14 rebounds as well.

For the Lakers, Kyle Kuzma's 29-point performance was not enough to give the much-needed win in the absence of superstar Lebron James.

New York Knicks - Philadelphia 76ers: 105-108
