Czech tennis player Petra Kvitova secured her second Wimbledon title after defeating Eugenie Bouchard of Canada 2-0 on Saturday.
The 24-year-old sixth seed, who won at Wimbledon three years ago, will rise to World no 4 after winning the sets 6-3 and 6-0 in just 55 minutes.
Bouchard, who became the first Canadian woman to advance to the singles' final, will go from World no 13 to no 8 despite losing the game.
The oldest tournament in tennis history, the Wimbledon Championships is one of the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments and widely considered the most prestigious one.
