Kosovan club KF Hajvalia has offered a four-month loan for Uruguayan star forward Luis Suarez -- banned by FIFA from any football-related activity after biting his Italian opponent Giorgio Chiellini.
"Since we are not internationally recognized (not part of FIFA) I think Suarez will have the right to play in Kosovo, that’s why we have prepared an offer which we’ll present to Liverpool," the director of KF Hajvali, Xhavit Pacolli, told Kosovan newspaper Sport Plus.
The newspaper said that KF Hajvali will offer 30,000 euros ($41,000) to Liverpool FC and a monthly salary of 1,500 euros to Suarez.
"This may seem ridiculous for him, but this is all we can do," Pacolli said.
KF Hajvalia -- a football club based in the suburbs of Pristina, the capital of Kosovo -- climbed in Kosovo's Super League in 2012 and won the Kosovar Cup in the 2013/2014 season.
The FIFA Disciplinary Committee punished Suarez with a four-month ban on all football activities, a nine-match international suspension and a $112,000 fine for biting Giorgio Chiellini on June 24 in the final moments of a critical match between Uruguay and Italy in the World Cup.
