Galatasaray's Tete's group stage goal voted Goal of Season in UEFA Champions League
Tete scores 3 goals, six assists in 45 matches for Turkish club this season

Galatasaray player Tete's goal was voted the UEFA Champions League Goal of the Season.
"Tetê's strike for Galatasaray against Copenhagen on Matchday 1 has been voted goal of the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League in a fan poll," UEFA said in a statement.
"The top ten goals of the 2023/24 competition were selected by UEFA's Technical Observer panel, and then put to a vote," it added.
The group stage match between Galatasaray vs. Copenhagen ended with a 2-2 draw in Istanbul last year.

Mateus Cardoso Lemos Martins, known as Tete, 24, produced three goals and six assists in 45 matches for the Istanbul club this season.
Brazilian winger played for major European sides such as Leicester City, Olympique Lyon and Shaktar Donetsk.
Also, UEFA's Technical Observer Panel chose the top 10 goals of the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League season.
Federico Valverde's first-time volley for Real Madrid against Manchester City earned the honor of Goal of the Season.
Barcelona's Raphinha came in second for his crisp volley against Paris Saint-Germain, while Niclas Fullkrug claimed third place with his header for Borussia Dortmund against Atletico Madrid.
