Galatasaray will compete in Group B of UEFA Champions League against Real Madrid, Juventus, and Copenhagen

Galatasaray in the death group of Champions League

ISTANBUL

Turkey's Galatasaray football club will compete in Group B of UEFA Champions League against Real Madrid (ESP), Juventus (ITA), and Copenhagen (DEN).

UEFA Champions League's draw took place in Monaco. Galatsaray will fight in the group B against Italian champion Juventus, Denmark's champion Copenhagen, and Real Madrid of Spain.

The first matches in the groups of Champions League will be played on 17-18 September.

Turkey's Trabzonspor qualifies for UEFA Europa League

Trabzonspor of Turkey defeated FK Kukesi of Albania 3-1 on Thursday at the second leg of the play-off tour of UEFA Europa League.

In UEFA Europa League, Trabzonspor defeated Kukesi 3-1 in the second match in Huseyin Avni Aker Stadium, in Trabzon, a north eastern province of Turkey.

The group stage draw will take place in Monaco on August 30.

After Trabzonspor Besiktas also qualifies for UEFA Europa League

Besiktas of Turkey defeated Tromso of Norway 2-0 on Thursday in the second leg of the play-off tour of UEFA Europa League.

In the second leg of the play-off tour of UEFA Europa League, Besiktas played the second match in Turkey at the Ataturk Stadium on Thursday, and won the game 2-0 against Tromso.

After Trabzonspor, Besiktas has also qualified for the UEFA Europa League.
