Spanish giants Real Madrid will take on English team Manchester City in highly-anticipated tie for Round of 16

ANKARA

The UEFA Champions League Round of 16 draw held at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, on Monday.

The draw featured the eight group winners (seeded) and eight runners-up (unseeded) from the group stage.

The highly-anticipated tie for Round of 16 will be played between Spain's Real Madrid and Premier League team Manchester City.

Holders Liverpool from the English Premier League will face Spanish Atletico Madrid for advancing to the quarter final.

Another Premier League club, Chelsea will take on German powerhouse Bayern Munich. The two clubs met in Champions League final in 2012, when Chelsea took the coveted trophy home.

Runners up Tottenham --another Premier League team- will take on current Bundesliga leaders RB Leipzig to move to the last 8.

First legs are set for Feb.18, 19, 25 or 26 while the second legs are scheduled for March 10, 11, 17 or 18.

Round of 16 draw is as follows:

Borussia Dortmund (Germany) - Paris Saint-Germain (France)

Real Madrid (Spain) - Manchester City (England)

Atalanta (Italy) - Valencia (Spain)

Atletico Madrid (Spain) - Liverpool (England)

Napoli (Italy) - Barcelona (Spain)
