Lionel Messi has scored his 23rd hat-trick in Spanish La Liga after finding the net three times during the matchday 23 game that Barcelona smashed Levante 5-0 on Sunday.
Thus he caught Real Madrid's Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo in this field.
Meanwhile in total 27-year-old Messi made his 31st hat-trick in official matches at Barcelona.
Lionel Messi has played his 300th La Liga match this weekend and scored 269 goals in the league.
The Argentine star forward of "Barca" has scored 26 goals in the league this season so Messi is getting closer to the current top scorer of La Liga, Ronaldo who managed to score 28 goals.
