ANKARA
German top football division Bundesliga's leaders Bayern Munich have torn apart Hamburg with an extravagant 8-0 score in their home ground, Allianz Arena in matchday 21.
Bayern Munich's German forward Thomas Muller, Dutch explosive winger Arjen Robben and German star midfielder Mario Gotze each found the net twice. The other two goals were scored by Polish striker Robert Lewandowski and French winger Franck Ribery.
League leaders "Die Bayern" raised their points to 52 on top. Bavarian giants are eight points ahead current runners-up Wolfsburg in standings.
In the opening match of the week, Borussia Dortmund beat Mainz 05 4-2 at their home, Signal Iduna Park. Dortmund's Turkish midfielder Nuri Sahin scored his team's fourth goal. Meanwhile Mainz's Turkish-German midfielder Yunus Malli also found the net for his team.
Borussia Dortmund started to climb to higher ranks in the league table. "Der BVB" having 22 points are in the 15th place in standings.
One of the interesting games of the week was played in BayArena. Bayer Leverkusen lost to visitors Wolfsburg 5-4.
Wolfsburg's Dutch striker Bas Dost scored four goals for his team, while Bayer Leverkusen's South Korean winger Son Heungmin made a hat-trick. Leverkusen defender Emir Spahic was sent off in the 82nd minute.
