First half in Turkish Super League completes

ISTANBUL

First half in Turkish Spor Toto Super League was completed. In matchday 17, Fenerbahce beat Kayseri, at home 5-1, after this match, Fenerbahce reached 41 points and completed the first half of the season as leaders.

Match of the week was played in Ankara on Friday, Besiktas lost against Genclerbirligi at away game, 1-0. Genclerbirligi's young striker Ermin Sec scored the only goal of the game, that gave a solid punch to Besiktas in Turkish league. 

Runners-up Galatasaray defeated Kayseri Erciyesspor 1-3, in away game, who are at the the bottom of the league standings. Galatasaray's world famous players, Wesley Sneider, Burak Yilmaz and Felipe Melo scored the goals. As a result of this game Galatasaray reached 33 points.  

Fenerbahce is leading the league with an 8 points gap.
