51st minute strike secures narrow 1-0 win over Northern Ireland in Euro 2016 Group C match

Poland earned their first European finals win with a 1-0 defeat of Northern Ireland in the two sides’ Euro 2016 Group C match in Nice on Sunday.
Finding space in the 51st minute, Poland forward Arkadiusz Milik made a low shot beating Northern Ireland goalkeeper Michael McGovern, 1-0.
He was assisted by Fiorentina winger Jakub Blaszczykowski.
The other Group C match between Germany and Ukraine at Stade Pierre Mauroy in Lille Metropole will begin later on Sunday.
The game will start at 9 p.m. local time in France (1900 GMT).
