Novak Djokovic, ranked world number seven, advanced to the semifinals of the Australian Open men's singles after defeating Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz.
The Serbian star defeated his Spanish opponent 3-1 in a quarter-final match lasting three hours and 37 minutes, with sets of 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, and 6-4, advancing to the semifinals at Rod Laver Arena.
Djokovic, 37, will face Germany's Alexander Zverev, the world number two, in the semifinals.
