Dirk Kuyt appointed new head coach of Dutch club Ado Den Haag
Former Liverpool player signs 1-year contract with team based in The Hague

Dirk Kuyt has been appointed as the new head coach of Ado Den Haag, the Dutch club announced on Thursday.
The former Liverpool player signed a one-year contract with the club based in The Hague.
"ADO Den Haag is a fantastic club and I am delighted to be standing here today and starting this new challenge as head coach," Kuyt said. "I am grateful for the warm welcome and the confidence that the club has expressed in me."
The 41-year-old, who played for clubs including Liverpool, FC Utrecht, Feyenoord, and Türkiye's Fenerbahce, has also coached Dutch youth team Feyenoord U19 from 2018 to 2020.
