ANKARA 

English footballer Dele Alli has joined Besiktas on loan from English Premier League side Everton, the Istanbul club announced on Thursday.

The 26-year-old will be with the Black Eagles until end of the 2022-2023 season.

Besiktas said the attacking midfielder has a purchase option and Everton will not be paid a loan fee.

Alli joined Everton in 2022 from Tottenham, where he was regarded as one of the most promising midfielders in the Premier League. He played 13 games for the Blues and could not contribute to any goals during his time.
