British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will convene an emergency Cabinet meeting (COBRA) on Monday to address the economic impact of the Middle East conflict, according to local media on Sunday.

Ministers and officials will discuss the cost-of-living impact of the ongoing Iran war and measures to support households, Sky News reported.

The prime minister last chaired a COBRA meeting on Thursday to discuss the ongoing war in the Middle East.

Named after the abbreviation for the Cabinet Office Briefing Rooms, COBRA meetings are held to enable the government to make rapid and coordinated decisions in situations such as natural disasters, war, terrorist attacks, and economic crisis.
