Besiktas part ways with manager Riza Calimbay after disappointing results

ISTANBUL
Besiktas parted ways with manager Riza Calimbay after a Turkish Super League defeat, the club announced Friday.
In a statement that thanked Calimbay for his efforts, the Istanbul football club wished him success in the future.
In matchday 17 on Thursday, Besiktas suffered a 3-1 loss to Corendon Alanyaspor at Tupras Stadium.
Calimbay, 60, replaced interim manager Burak Yilmaz on Nov. 10.
It was Calimbay's second stint with the Black Eagles after he helmed the club for nine months in 2005.
