76ers beat Nuggets for 13th straight win at home

The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Denver Nuggets 97-92 on Tuesday to extend their winning streak to 13 games at home.

The 76ers All-Star player Joel Embiid performed a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds.

Tobias Harris produced 20 points while Matisse Thybulle came off the bench to add 13 points for the 76ers.

On the losing side, Will Barton was the highest scorer with 26 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists.

Vince Carter plays for 1,500th regular-season game

In another game of the night, the Miami Heat beat the Atlanta Hawks 135-121 in overtime.

Kendrick Nunn was the highest scorer for the Heat with 36 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.

Duncan Robinson tallied 34 points as Bam Adebayo had a triple-double with 30 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists.

For the Hawks, De'Andre Hunter played with 28 points and 4 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Hawks veteran Vince Carter, 42, played his 1,500th game in the regular-season.

Robert Parish (1,611 games), Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (1,560), Dirk Nowitzki (1,522) and John Stockton (1,504) are in the list who played more than 1,500 games in the NBA.
