ANKARA
The Turkish club Anadolu Efes qualified for the next stage in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague competition on Saturday.
Anadolu Efes made the Top16, after beating Lithuanian team Zalgiris Kaunas 66-57 in an away game.
Another Turkish club Fenerbahce Ulker defeated Greek team Panathinaikos 84-62 in Istanbul and climbed to second place in the group. Fenerbahce had already qualified for the Top 16.
Meanwhile Galatasaray Liv Hospital from Turkey were knocked out by Basque team Laboral Kutxa Vitoria at Abdi Ipekci Arena in Istanbul. "The Lions" lost the game 89-82, their fifth defeat in the group.

Leaders Real Madrid beat Nizhny Novgorod 101-98 in a close match in Russia. Real Madrid also qualified for Top 16.

Catalan giants Barcelona lead the group with an eight-game unbeaten run. In this round, "Barca" smashed PGE Turow 104-65 in an away game. Meanwhile the Italian club EA7 Emporio Armani Milan beat Germany's Bayern Munich 83-81. This critical defeat in Italy eliminated Bayern Munich.
Barcelona, Fenerbahce Ulker and Panathinaikos qualified for Top 16.
