ANKARA

The Spanish football team Barcelona beat German Bayer Leverkusen 2-1 in the second week of UEFA Champions League group matches on Tuesday. 

Leverkusen’s Papadopoulos gave his team the lead with his goal at the 22th minute of the game. However, the Catalan team managed a strong come-back with two late goals in rapid-fire succession by Sergi Roberto in 80’ and Suarez in 82’. 

Meanwhile, the most decisive victory of the night came from Bayern Munich, which thrashed Crotian side Dinamo Zagreb 5-0. Robert Lewandowski, who last week dazzled football fans around the world by scoring five goals in nine minutes, tallied a hat-trick for the German giants.
