Ukraine claims it hit 3 Russian air defense systems in Crimea
Defense forces carry out ‘successful’ strikes against S-400, S-300 air defense systems, claims General Staff

ISTANBUL
Ukraine claimed on Monday that it hit three Russian air defense systems in the Crimean Peninsula, which Moscow annexed in 2014.
A statement by the General Staff said defense forces carried out “successful” strikes against an S-400 air defense system near the town of Dzhankoi, and two S-300 air defense systems near the settlements of Chornomorske and Yevpatoria.
Alleging that none of the missiles launched by Ukraine were intercepted by Russian air defenses, the statement said S-300 and S-400 radars in the areas stopped working following the strikes.
It added that detonation of ammunition was noted in all three areas and losses were inflicted on Russia’s air defenses.
