The Palestinian unity government will be sworn in Monday after rival Fatah and Hamas groups agreed on the cabinet lineup, a Fatah source said Friday.
"The unity government will take the oath before President Mahmoud Abbas on Monday," the source told Anadolu Agency.
According to the source, West Bank Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki will keep his portfolio in the unity government.
On April 23, Hamas, which rules the Gaza Strip, and Fatah, which rules the occupied West Bank, hammered out a reconciliation deal with a view to ending the rifts that have marred their relations since 2007.
The deal stipulates the formation of a government of national accord to serve until legislative and presidential polls can be held in the occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
The unity government was expected to be unveiled earlier this week, but differences over the foreign minister portfolio delayed the announcement of the cabinet lineup.
Fatah and Hamas earlier agreed to name West Bank Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah as the prime minister of the expected national unity government.
