Ancient rock paintings appear after water level drops
ADIYAMAN, TURKEY - OCTOBER 11: Adiyaman Museum Director Mehmet Alkan gestures while viewing the rock paintings, which appeared after the water level has dropped and caught the eyes of fishermen fishing at Ataturk Dam, from the paleolithic era in Kahta district of Adiyaman, Turkey on October 11, 2018. Carvings, occupy an area of 8 meters in length and 70 centimeters in width display a wild goat hunting scene and cavalry imagery. Water level dropped 10 to 15 meters before paintings appeared.
