Anadolu Ajansı Amerika Bölge Direktörlüğü New York Ofisi, Başbakan Yardımcısı Bülent Arınç'ın katılımıyla açıldı. 100. yıl hedefleri kapsamında yurt dışı operasyonlarını güçlendiren AA'nın Amerika Bölge Direktörlüğü New York Ofisi, ABD ve dünyanın finans, sanat ve diplomasi merkezi konumundaki New York'un Manhattan bölgesinde hizmete girdi. Açılış törenine Başbakan Yardımcısı Bülent Arınç (sağ 2), AA Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı ve Genel Müdürü Kemal Öztürk (sol 2), Türkiye'nin Washington Büyükelçisi Namık Tan (sağda), Birleşmiş Milletler Daimi Temsilcisi Halit Çevik de(solda) katıldı.
