A UAE-US business dialogue was launched Friday in Abu Dhabi with the participation of US President Donald Trump as part of the last stop on his Gulf tour, according to livestreaming of the event.

The opening ceremony featured presentations of companies specializing in artificial intelligence, aviation, health care, sports and industry by US and Emirati businesspeople showcasing flagship projects and investment opportunities.

“That's amazing. These are all American companies. They're doing very well here. We work together… It's an incredible thing,” Trump told reporters following the presentations.

On the Emirati side, the dialogue was chaired by Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed.

Afterward, Trump visited the Abrahamic Family House in Abu Dhabi, expressing his admiration and describing it as a “beautiful job.”

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE president, said Thursday that over the next decade, his country plans to invest $1.4 trillion in the US.

On Thursday, a new 5GW UAE-US AI Campus in Abu Dhabi was unveiled at Qasr Al Watan in the presence of Trump and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE president.

The new AI campus, the largest outside the US, “will be home to US hyperscalers and large enterprises that can leverage the capacity for regional compute resources with the ability to serve the Global South,” said the Emirates News Agency WAM.

The UAE-US AI campus “will include 5GW of capacity for AI data centers in Abu Dhabi, providing a regional platform from which US hyperscalers will be able to offer latency-friendly services to nearly half of the global population,” added the agency.

Once completed, the facility “will leverage nuclear, solar, and gas power to minimise carbon emissions and will also house a science park driving advancements in AI innovation,” it addended.

The campus will be built by G42 and operated in partnership with several US companies, it said.

Following visits to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, the UAE is the third and final stop on Trump’s Gulf tour.
