QatarEnergy confirms missile attack on Ras Laffan gas plant

DOHA, Qatar / ISTANBUL
QatarEnegy reported a missile attack on Wednesday evening on the Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar’s main site for the production of liquefied natural gas.
“Emergency response teams were deployed immediately to contain the resulting fires, as extensive damage has been caused,” the company said in a staetment.
No casualties were reported.
