Seven Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Friday as Israeli forces targeted multiple areas across the Gaza Strip, including locations where civilians were waiting for humanitarian aid.

Medical sources said three people were killed and others wounded when Israeli forces opened fire on a crowd waiting for aid in central Gaza.

A man and his wife were also killed in an Israeli airstrike near the Asfour station in the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

In northern Gaza, Israeli aircraft targeted a group of civilians near the Sanafour junction in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood northeast of Gaza City, killing one person and injuring others.

Another civilian was killed in a separate airstrike on Mushtahi Street in the Shejaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

Israel has been facing mounting outrage over its destructive war on Gaza, where more than 61,200 people have been killed since October 2023. The military campaign has devastated the enclave, which is facing famine.

Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
