GAZA CITY, Palestine/ISTANBUL

At least seven Palestinians were killed, many others injured in Israeli attacks across Gaza, as the army continued to detonate homes in Gaza City on Tuesday, according to medics.

Medical sources told Anadolu that four people were killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a high-rise building in central Gaza City. Several others were trapped under the rubble, witnesses said.

In the western part of the city, three Palestinians were killed and others wounded in an Israeli strike on a house in the Shati refugee camp.

A number of civilians were injured, and others are still missing under the rubble after another airstrike targeted a house in the same area.

The Israeli army carried out a series of airstrikes on the refugee camp, while navy and military vehicles shelled its northern parts.

In southern Gaza City, the army continued to blow up buildings and facilities via detonating booby-trapped vehicles in the Tel Hawa and Sabra neighborhoods, leaving massive destruction.

Israeli artillery shelled the eastern parts of the Al-Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip and the central Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

The army forces maintained a presence in several neighborhoods of Gaza City, as it announced on Sunday the entry of another armored division into Gaza City to reinforce the forces already deployed there.

Israel launched Operation “Gideon Chariots 2” earlier this month, aiming at the complete occupation of Gaza City. Nearly 1 million Palestinians, most of them displaced from other parts of the enclave, remain trapped under relentless bombardment.

The Israeli army has killed over 65,300 Palestinians, most of them women and children, in Gaza since October 2023. The relentless bombardment has rendered the enclave uninhabitable and led to starvation and the spread of diseases.
