Israeli army detains 60 more Palestinians in West Bank

RAMALLAH, Palestine
The Israeli army arrested 60 more Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Prisoners Club said on Monday, bringing the total number of Palestinians detained since Oct. 7 to 3,260.
The arrests were made between Sunday night and Monday dawn in the towns of Bani Na'im near Hebron, Kafr Ni'ma in the Ramallah governorate, Jenin, Nablus, and Bethlehem, it said.
Tensions have been running high across the West Bank amid an Israeli military onslaught on the Gaza Strip following a cross-border attack by Hamas on Oct. 7.

It has since killed at least 14,854 Palestinians, including 6,150 children and over 4,000 women, according to health authorities in the enclave. The official Israeli death toll stands at 1,200.
