Israel says nearly 2,750 people injured in Iranian attacks since war outbreak

JERUSALEM

Israel’s Health Ministry said Thursday that 2,745 people have been injured in Iranian missile and drone attacks since late last month.

A ministry statement added that 85 people are still hospitalized, including 11 in serious condition.

The ministry said that 179 people were injured in Iranian attacks in the last 24 hours, including four moderately and 18 from shockwaves.

According to the Institute for National Security Studies at Tel Aviv University, 14 Israelis have been killed in Iranian attacks since the start of a joint US-Israeli attack on Iran on Feb. 28.

Israel imposes strict censorship on reporting casualties caused by missiles launched by Iran and Hezbollah or intercepted by its defenses and also prohibits the circulation of related footage.

Israel and the US have continued a joint offensive on Iran since Feb. 28, killing some 1,300 people, including numerous top officials.

Tehran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries that are home to US military assets.
