Iran’s capital rocked by series of explosions amid US-Israeli offensive
Smokes rises in eastern parts of Tehran as Iranian air defense systems active, says Anadolu reporter
TEHRAN, Iran
A series of explosions rocked the Iranian capital Tehran on Wednesday amid an ongoing US-Israeli military offensive, according to an Anadolu reporter.
Following the blasts, smoke was seen rising in eastern parts of the city while Iran’s air defense systems were active.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army announced that it had launched attacks on several locations across Tehran.
Hostilities have escalated since US and Israeli strikes on Iran began on Feb. 28.
Iran has retaliated with repeated drone and missile strikes targeting Israel and Gulf countries hosting US military assets.
