ISTANBUL
The 23rd edition of the Doha Forum is set to take place on Dec. 6-7 under the theme “Justice in Action: Beyond Promises to Progress.”
Held under the patronage of Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the annual gathering will once again bring together heads of state, policymakers, and global experts for discussions on some of the world’s most pressing challenges.
“In a world facing overlapping crises, the call for fair, accountable, and collective governance is more urgent than ever,” said Mubarak Ajlan Al-Kuwari, the forum’s executive director.
“As a convener of diverse voices, Doha Forum stands as a leading platform to explore how diplomacy, development, and humanitarian action can intersect to deliver measurable, inclusive progress,” Al-Kuwari added.
The event will bring together global leaders, including Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa, Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares, President and CEO of the World Economic Forum Borge Brende, former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates.
The 2025 program, developed with global think tanks and research institutions, will feature sessions such as "The Gaza Reckoning: Reassessing Global Responsibilities and Pathways to Peace," "Gulf–EU Relations in the Age of Strategic Isolation," "AI as a Double-Edged Sword: Strategies for Responsible Use in the Military Domain," and "US–China Relations: Navigating the Risks and Opportunities of a Changing Global Order."
