Children among 25 Palestinians killed in fresh Israeli strikes on Gaza Strip
Several others injured as Israeli army targets aid seekers, tents sheltering displaced civilians, residential apartment

GAZA CITY, Palestine / ISTANBUL
At least 25 people were killed and several others injured in Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip on Thursday, medical sources told Anadolu.
The Israeli army targeted a residential apartment for a Palestinian family in northern Gaza City, killing three people and injuring others. The strike also sparked a fire at the site.
Five people were killed when the Israeli army shelled tents for displaced Palestinians in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza Strip.
Army forces also shelled civilians waiting for aid delivery near a distribution point in Salah al-Din Street in central Gaza, killing 12 people and injuring 60 others, Al-Awda Hospital said in a statement.
Israeli drone strikes killed five civilians, four of them children, and injured more than 15 others in the Al-Mawasi area of southern Khan Younis city.
The Israeli army, rejecting international calls for a ceasefire, has pursued a brutal offensive on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, killing more than 60,100 Palestinians. The relentless bombardment has devastated the enclave and led to food shortages.
On Monday, Israeli rights groups B’Tselem and Physicians for Human Rights accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza, citing the systematic destruction of Palestinian society and the deliberate dismantling of the territory’s health care system.
Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
