5 Palestinians killed, 30 injured in Israeli strikes in Gaza despite ceasefire
Israeli army confirms striking Khan Younis, southern Gaza, according to Army Radio
GAZA CITY, Palestine / ISTANBUL
Five Palestinians were killed and 30 others injured in a new wave of Israeli strikes on Wednesday, in a further violation of last month’s ceasefire deal, medics said.
Gaza Civil Defense said the Israeli attacks targeted areas where its forces had withdrawn under the ceasefire agreement.
The Israeli army confirmed striking Al-Mawasi in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, claiming that it had responded to gunfire targeting its forces in Rafah, according to Army Radio.
