Russia's National Welfare Fund reserves fell 0.15% on a monthly basis in July to 13.08 trillion rubles (around $163.1 billion), the Russian Finance Ministry said Wednesday.

The statement also noted that the ratio of reserves to gross domestic product (GDP) stood at 5.9%.

The country's National Welfare Fund holds assets denominated in gold and Chinese yuan.
