Russia claims to have taken control of another settlement in Ukraine
Defense Ministry says its forces took over Zhuravka village in Sumy region

MOSCOW
Russia on Thursday claimed that its forces have captured another settlement in Ukraine’s Sumy region.
According to a Defense Ministry statement, the village of Zhuravka came under Russian control following an operation by the Sever (North) group of forces.
The ministry also said that the Russian forces are advancing in Russia’s Kursk region, where only two settlements remain under Ukraine's control.
Ukraine has yet to comment on these claims, and independent verification remains challenging due to the ongoing conflict.
