Russia claims to have hit Ukraine's military industrial facilities in overnight combined strike
Russian Defense Ministry says its air defense systems shot down 311 drones, 140 of which were outside battle zone

MOSCOW
The Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday that its forces conducted a combined strike on Ukraine's military industry facilities.
High-precision long-range weapons and drones were used to strike military-industrial complex facilities, assembly shops for strike unmanned aerial vehicles, maintenance and repair points for armaments and military equipment, as well as ammunition depots, the ministry said in a statement.
"The objectives of the strikes have been achieved. All designated targets have been hit," the statement read.
Over the night, Russian air defense systems shot down 311 drones, 140 of which were outside the battle zone, and four unmanned enemy boats were struck in Black Sea waters, it said.
Ukraine has yet to comment on Russia's claims, and independent verification is challenging due to the ongoing conflict.
