France bridge collapse leaves 1 dead
4 people swim to safety, officials say

A teenage girl died on Monday when a bridge collapsed in southern France, officials said.
The 155-meter-long Villemur suspension bridge collapsed in the town of Mirepoix-sur-Tarn, 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) north of Toulouse city, according to the Haute-Garonne Governorship.
Four other people fell into the lake below, but swam to safety.
Rescue workers have rushed to the site.
