ISTANBUL

European stock exchanges closed mixed on Monday.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European markets in 17 countries, was up just one point, or 0.21%, to finish the day flat at 484.84.

The UK’s FTSE 100 was mostly unchanged by trimming just 2.35 points, or 0.03%, to end the session at 7,632.

Germany’s DAX 30 decreased 19 points, or 0.12%, to close at 16,941.

Italy’s FTSE MIB was the worst performer of the day, diving 145 points, or 0.48%, to 30,233. Spain’s IBEX 35 fell 46 points, or 0.47%, to 9,890.

France’s CAC 40, on the other hand, increased 6.67 points, or 0.09%, to 7,640 at the closing bell.
