The Bahraini army on Saturday said it has intercepted and destroyed 174 missiles and 385 drones targeting the kingdom since the start of Iranian attacks on Feb. 28.

In a statement, the General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force said its air defense systems continue to confront successive waves of what it described as “terrorist Iranian attacks.”

The statement affirmed that its forces remain at full combat readiness and possess sustained operational capability to protect the country, adding that armed forces personnel are capable of countering all aerial threats.

The command also urged all those present in the kingdom to exercise maximum caution for their safety, avoid affected areas and any suspicious objects, refrain from filming military operations or impact sites, and not to spread rumors.

It stressed that the use of ballistic missiles and drones to target civilian infrastructure and private property constitutes a “flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the UN Charter,” warning that such indiscriminate attacks pose a direct threat to regional peace and security.
