GENEVA
The UN Women's Guild-Geneva (UNWG-Geneva) on Tuesday held its annual charity bazaar at the international organization's Geneva Office.
Many countries around the world, including Türkiye, set up stands selling food, beverages, souvenirs and clothes unique to their culture to assist disadvantaged children worldwide.
According to the UNWG-Geneva, nearly 70 countries participated in the event organized under the theme, "United for Children, Clean Environment."
The bazaars mainly focus on financing projects to support women and children in need, the UNWG said, adding that they also reflect the UN spirit of "multilateralism and cooperation."
