UK’s far-right party leader defends Zelensky after Trump calls him ‘dictator’
‘You shouldn’t always take things that Donald Trump says absolutely literally,’ says Reform UK leader Nigel Farage

LONDON
Reform UK leader Nigel Farage on Thursday defended Volodymyr Zelenskyy, stating that the Ukrainian president is “not a dictator,” following comments made by US President Donald Trump.
On Wednesday the US president called Zelenskyy a "dictator" and "modestly successful comedian" who "talked" the US into "the war that can't be won."
Speaking in Washington, DC, Farage said: “You should always take everything Donald Trump says seriously. You shouldn’t always take things that Donald Trump says absolutely literally.”
“So let’s be clear. Zelensky is not a dictator,” he continued. “But it is only right and proper that Ukrainians have a timeline for elections.”
