Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares said Thursday that ensuring humanitarian access to Gaza remains a “priority” for Madrid in talks with Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
In a post on US social media platform X, Albares said discussions focused on the situation in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, as well as Spain’s stance on humanitarian assistance.
Reaffirming Spain’s solidarity, the foreign minister said he reiterated support for the Palestinian people and the Palestinian National Authority.
Albares added that facilitating the entry of all necessary humanitarian aid into Gaza remains central to Spain’s agenda.
