PARIS

Hundreds of people gathered in the French capital on Saturday for a solidarity rally with the people of Palestine, Haiti, Venezuela, New Caledonia, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Sudan.

Responding to calls from various associations, demonstrators assembled at Place de la Nation to protest what they described as “discrimination and oppression” faced by those communities.

Participants expressed support for the affected populations while carrying banners reading “Boycott Israel” along with the flags of the nations mentioned.

Some members of France’s Yellow Vests movement also joined the demonstration, which was held under police supervision.
