Turkish prefabricated building manufacturer Karmod said it delivered the fifth phase of its steel-frame housing project in Marseille, expanding its footprint in Europe’s fast-growing modular construction market.

The latest batch of homes were delivered as part of Karmod's ongoing residential program in France.

Karmod’s overseas sales manager Ozan Aydin said the company is sustaining strong momentum across Europe with its prefabricated housing pipeline.

“We have become one of Europe’s preferred steel-home brands thanks to fast production cycles, easy transport and rapid on-site assembly,” Aydin said.

“We use new technologies across our prefabricated steel home lines. France, Germany, the UK, Portugal, Italy, Romania, Greece and Bulgaria are standout markets for our residential projects. Rapid installation continues to drive interest across the continent,” he added.

He said Karmod also adapts designs to meet country-specific structural and insulation standards, while Europe’s extensive road-transport networks facilitate delivery logistics.

The Marseille development consists of 94-square-meter, two-bedroom units. All materials were delivered in a single vehicle, the company said, with Karmod teams completing on-site installation in 10 days.

The project was engineered to meet France’s building-safety requirements, with insulation solutions tailored to national standards.
