Jewish tourists replace Welsh landmark Christian cross with Star of David
Footage shows group arranging stones into 6-point Star of David, symbol of Jewish identity on Israeli flag

LONDON
A group of Jewish tourists provoked anger after footage appeared to show them dismantling a 60-foot Christian cross on a hillside in Wales and using the stones to form a Star of David, according to the Daily Mail.
The cross that is believed to have been standing for at least 50 years below the summit of the Great Orme -- a popular tourist site with panoramic views across Snowdonia, Anglesey, the Isle of Man, Blackpoo, and the Lake District -- was reportedly kicked apart by several young people, some wearing traditional kippahs, according to a video by a local group on US social media company Facebook.
The footage shows the group arranging the stones into a six-pointed Star of David, a symbol of Jewish identity that also appears on Israel’s flag.
It is unclear whether the Star of David was completed and how many stones were removed.
The incident has sparked Welsh outrage about the removal of the long-standing Christian symbol.
