The Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority announced on Monday the application deadline of March 11 for companies which plan to import electricity from Iran.
Companies which intend to import electricity from Iran via the electricity line, and who satisfy all the required legal conditions, need to apply to Turkish EMRA in Ankara by the deadline.
GENT Electricity Company, a Turkish energy company, applied previously to Turkey's Energy Market Regulatory Authority, EMRA, for electricity imports from Iran through the Bazergan-Dogu Beyazit electricity circuit, which is subject to Turkish Electricity Market Law 6446.
EMRA also announced on its website the capacity allocation of the electricity interconnections for license holding companies which is determined by the Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation, TEİAS as follows:
