Hourly power consumption peaked at 20.00 local time with 33,459 megawatt-hours, data from TEIAS showed. The country's electricity usage dropped to its lowest level of 23,844 megawatt-hours at 07.00 local time.
Total electricity production reached 702,638 megawatt-hours on Friday with a 0.6% increase compared to the previous day.
The majority of the output came from hydroelectricity plants at 193,847 megawatt-hours. Imported coal and run-of-river plants followed with 136,383 megawatt-hours and 122,777 megawatt-hours, respectively.
On Friday, Turkey's electricity exports amounted to 2,669 megawatt-hours, while imports totaled 8,979 megawatt-hours.
