Trade between China-central Asia fast-moving
Trade between China and central Asian countries climbed 13 percent year on year reaching $40 billion in 2013.
BEIJING
Trade between China and central Asian countries, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, increased 13 percent year on year reaching $40 billion in 2013, according to Chinese Commerce Ministry on Thursday.
The Ministry says that bilateral trade between China and Kazakhstan, the largest economy of the post-Soviet regions, rose by 11.3 percent reaching $28.6 billion in 2013. Trade between China and Uzbekistan also increased by 58.3 percent reaching $4billion.
The Ministry of Commerce added that China and Kazakhstan have set a trade target of raising two-way trade to $40 billion by 2015.
