A promotion meeting for The OMNEX 2026 Oman-Türkiye Business Forum and International Trade Fair, which will be organized by the Oman Business Forum, was held at the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) in Muscat.

The fair, for which Anadolu is a global communications partner, will bring together business communities from both countries in Oman’s capital on Feb. 2-4, according to the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Türkiye (DEIK).

At the promotion meeting, organized by the Oman Business Forum in partnership with the Oman-Turkish Joint Business Council and in cooperation with Oman’s Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, the forum’s objectives, concurrently organized events and targeted sectors were shared with the public.

Speaking at the press conference, Yunus Ete, chairman of the DEIK Türkiye-Oman Business Council, emphasized that OMNEX 2026 represents an important turning point in bilateral economic relations.

Ete said Türkiye’s selection as the guest of honor is a sign of the strong partnership between the two countries and offers opportunities to develop strategic cooperation between their business communities.

He added that holding the forum at this time is of great importance in terms of the positive momentum created following high-level reciprocal visits between Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
