Renowned Turkish film star Yilmaz Guney's eight movies were screened for the first time in Washington.
Guney's films "The Road", "The Hope", "Mourning", "The Herd", "Seyit Han", "Hungry Wolfs","Friends", "Miserable" have been screening in USA and Canada for nine months. As part of the final stage of the tour Guney's films after New York, were screened at The Goethe Institute and Freer&Sackler Gallery in Washington.
Guney films attracted great attention from American people.
Speaking to AA, several Americans said that they were impressed by Guney's films.
