Anadolu Agency followers have until April 7 to vote for their favorite photos and videos that were published in March.

Anti-Government Protests in Venezuela – (Cristian Hernandez) - During the anti-government protests in Venezuela, clashes take place between the police and protesters from time to time. 

Tension between Ukraine and Russia – (Bulent Doruk) - A Ukrainian soldier (R) and Russian army forces (L) stand guard in front of the main entrance of a Ukrainian military base in Yevpatoria, which Russian army forces took control of in Crimea. 

Demonstrations in Crimean Peninsula – (Bulent Doruk) - Protestors shout slogans in support of Russia outside the Crimean Autonomous Republic's parliament building in Simferopol. During the ongoing protest, two women who are members of the FEMEN group protest against Putin's politics. Security forces place the FEMEN protesters under custody. 

Police intervention in Anti-Coup Protests – (Ibrahim Ramadan) - Egyptian security forces interfere with anti-coup demonstrations organized by the ‘National Alliance to Support Legitimacy’ movement in Cairo, Alexandria and Beni Suef.  

Waiting to be rescued – (Basir Gulum) - The driver of a minibus that has gone adrift while passing through a stream swims to shore in Mersin, Turkey. An underwater search and rescue team rescued a Syrian passenger who climbed to the vehicle's top.  

Trabzonspor – Fenerbahce – (Burak Altunoz) - A Spor Toto Super League's football match takes place between Trabzonspor and Fenerbahce at Trabzonspor's home at Huseyin Avni Aker Stadium in Trabzon. During the first half of the football match, dangerous objects were thrown onto the field, resulting in the game's cancelation.  

The Funeral of Berkin Elvan – (Onur Coban) - The coffin of Berkin Elvan, who was hit with a pepper gas canister in the head during the Gezi Park protests, is being brought to Okmeydani Djemevi in Istanbul's Okmeydani. Relatives and close associates watch the funeral in tears. Berkin Elvan's mother, Gulsum Elvan (R), stares at the ceremony from the window in sorrow. 

Berkin Elvan Protests in Izmir – (Emin Menguarslan) - Protesters in Izmir walk out to Konak Square after the death of 15-year-old Berkin Elvan, hit in the head with a pepper gas canister on June 16, 2013 during the Gezi Park protests in Istanbul. An old woman with a loaf of bread in her hand protested in front of Izmir's governor building. 

Protest in Istanbul – (Ahmet Bolat) - Riot police disperse a group of demonstrators staging a protest following the death of 15-year-old Berkin Elvan at Taksim Square in Istanbul. 

Protestors in Venezuela – (Cristian Hernandez) - A clash occurred between anti-government protestors and Venezuelan riot police. 

Suicide attempt on high-tension pole – (Servet Ulku) - 32-year-old Izzet Yurtseven, climbing on a high-tension power pole in front of Adnan Menderes Airport in Izmir was shocked on March 17. The man, photographed during the shock, remains in critical condition.  

Syrian warplane crash – (Ali Ihsan Ozturk) - A Syrian warplane shot down in Latakia, near the Turkish border, by Turkish Air Forces due to border violation. 

Local Election Rally – (Kayhan Ozer) - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan speaks to the crowd during a local election rally organized by the ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party at Istanbul's Yenikapi Square. 

Syrian civil war – (Ali Ihsan Ozturk) -  Assad regime's air and land forces attack an area to regain control over it after Syrian opposition forces seized Latakia's Kasab town.  

Drought in Pakistan – (Metin Aktas) - People in Pakistan continue to die in the main center of Pakistan's southeastern Tharparkar district due to lack of clean drinking water amid drought. 

Syrian kids – (Firat Yurdakul) - 9 thousands Syrian students are being educated in Turkey’s biggest tent city, Suleyman Sah Accommodation Facilities, where a total of 26,000 Syrians live in southeastern Sanliurfa province. 340 teachers provide education for Syrian students at elementary, secondary and high schools.  

Pot Manufacturing in Egypt – (Ahmed Ismail) - Jugs, containers and pots are made with soil in the countryside of Faiyum, Egypt. Egypt is known as the country with the longest history of pot manufacturing. Workers produce the pots through traditional methods.  

Tough escape of Syrian Family – (Firat Yurdakul) - Syrian Hashar family, who lost their father due to the attacks Assad regime forces organized in Idlib approximately 2 months ago, escape to Turkey. The journey, which was dangerous under bombardment in Syria, turns into a long and tough one in Turkey.

Industrial Mountaineering – (Gokhan Balci) - Rope access technician and professional climber Murat Devseli wipes the windows of a 30-storey building in Istanbul. Rope access is a form of work positioning, which applies practical ropework to allow workers to access difficult-to-reach locations without the use of scaffolding, cradles or an aerial work platform.

  Journey to Hot Spring – (Ozkan Bilgin) - A hot spring located in Bitlis' Budakli village welcomes kids and their animals. 

Beauty expo in New York – (Bilgin Sasmaz) - Japanese artist Lisa Yamasaki’s show "Mirage of Carnival" attracts people’s attention during the New York International Beauty Expo. 

Danger of suspension bridge in Indonesia – (Agoes Rudianto) - Indonesian students go to school via a suspension bridge that connects Suro village and Plempungan village. The series of iron rods along a length of 30 meters and a width of 1.5 meters, 10 meters above Pepe river, is not actually a bridge, but the irrigation canals that drain water from Cengklik reservoir to the surrounding rice fields.

Palestinian kids commemorate 3rd anniversary of Japanese earthquake – (Mustafa Hassona) - Palestinian kids in Gaza fly kites to commemorate tsunami victims during the 3rd anniversary of the 9.0 magnitude earthquake on March 11.

Batik cloth in Indonesia – (Agoes Rudianto) - Workers completed batik cloth using natural dyes extracted from various plant parts on March 12 in Sukoharjo, Central Java, Indonesia. In 2009, UNESCO recognized Batik as part of world heritage from Indonesia. Batik is a cloth that is traditionally made through a manual wax-resistant dyeing technique. 

Motodrom Show at Musikmesse Fair in Frankfurt – (Mehmet Kaman) - Artist Donald Ganslmeier performs on the original motodrome motorcycle of 1928 to promote Gibson guitar at the 'Musikmesse' fair in Germany's Frankfurt. The wall's diameter is 16 meters. The 'Musikmesse,' held annually for over 25 years in Frankfurt, is the international fair for musical instruments, sheet music, music production and music business connections.

Kibera Slum in Nairobi – (Thomas Campean) - Kibera slum in Kenya's Nairobi is the biggest and poorest African slum with a population of around one million. Most houses are wooden shacks with a mud floor and tin roof, and no toilets or running water. Kibera has two main water pipes, one from the municipal council and one from the World Bank. Local people carry their clean water in jerrycans. 

Anniversary of Halabja Chemical Attack – (Emrah Yorulmaz) - Hundreds of people visit the graveyard for the Halabja chemical attack victims of March 16, 1988 in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq.
